Senior Product Designer / Developer

When starting at ITC UK, as a Digital Designer, and a Front-End Web Developer I was able to put my transferable skills into User Experience and my passion and determination landed me a Senior Position as a Product Designer. My daily tasks involve sketching, and creating wireframes in Figma. Which then advanced to functional prototypes built by myself using HTML, CSS and Javascript. My decisions are influenced by data reports, I have co-created with Marketing using Microsoft Power Bi. But also by using applications such as Google Analytics, and Hot Jar.

As Senior, I play a significant role in early stages of projects. My UX, confidence and listening skills allow me to work with Marketeers, Developers, Designers and Managers from other departments. I strongly believe Design Sprints are a key part of any projects and can be the key to help prevent any potential problems in the development / final stage. As well as being one of the key members of UX at ITC, I also provide Design and UI.

Whilst working at BMCM, my role as the Digital Producer I was one of the key designers who was responsible for creating Digital assets for both Web and Social Media. BMCM customers were based in both the UK, and Ireland so it was very important to make sure that design followed regulations. Working at BMCM was a great experience, and was a gateway into industry and contributed to my motivation today.
